Visit Mt. Shasta Lavender Farm
More ideas of things to do this summer… Last week we visited the Mt. Shasta Lavender Farm in Montague, California.
The Farm is about 1 hour and 15 minutes south of Ashland, Oregon and makes for a pleasant day trip. After you get off I-5 and start heading out to the farm, you’ll drive through beautiful countryside few would otherwise have a chance to see. With beautiful Mt. Shasta in the background, the drive is truly spectacular. Directions are easy to follow. They are open to the public until August 3rd from 9am-4pm.
Bring along a picnic lunch (which, of course, you will get from Brothers’ Restaurant). They have plenty of tables — each with a nice shady umbrella. They have a labyrinth to wonder through and a gift shop where you can purchase soaps, massage oils, tea, spice rubs and more.
